Bio

I am a College student who has an interest in preserving the history of ancestors and loved ones. I have never really known how all of my family members are tied together until I started researching during winter of 2022. Since then, I have gained much more knowledge about my family than I knew before. Especially with my discovery of findagrave, it has been an added resource to help me map the roots of my family together.

On my father's side, my roots trace back to Ireland, England, Poland, and Canada. Some of my paternal surnames include McClements, Wilson, Parker, Panasuk, Phillips, and Duckering.

The McClements family line traces its roots back to Bellygowan, Ireland. My 3rd-great-grandfather, John McClements, was an immigrant from Ireland, and started the McClements family's American roots in Michigan.

My paternal great-great-grandparents, Samuel Panasuik, and Mary Soltyz are from Poland. They immigrated in the early 1910s to America and arrived in New York.

On my mother's side, my roots trace back to Mexico and Japan. Some of my maternal surnames include Gamboa, Takata, Tanaka, Gonzales, and Imperial.

My maternal great-great-grandparents, Shigeo Tanaka, and Shizuko Sasaki are from Hiroshima Japan. They arrived in the early 1900s and resided in Stockton, California. Along with my great-grandmother, they were one of the many Japanese-Americans in the internment camps in WWII.

If you want to use any of the photos I have on findagrave, feel free to use them. They are free use for anyone.

If you believe I have made a mistake on information for any memorial under my care, feel free to message me with what you think needs to be changed. Just make sure that you have information supporting your reason for changes for me to review.
