This defunct cemetery was established on 16 September 1826 and was 3 acres in size. Reburials were made in the Wesleyan Cemetery and Spring Grove Cemetery about 1858.
Both an 1842 and an 1868 Cincinnati Atlas shows three cemeteries along Catherine (now Court) Street with that street as their southern boundary. The western cemetery is the Catholic Burying Ground, the eastern cemetery is the Baptist Burying Ground, and the middle cemetery is the Methodist Burying Ground. The Catherine Street Burying Ground (Catholic cemetery) has Kossuth Street (now approximately Ruhr Way) as the western boundary. The cemetery straddles Cutter Street with its eastern boundary being between Cutter Street and Wesley Avenue. The Methodist Burying Ground lies between the eastern boundary of the Catholic Burying Ground and Wesley Avenue. The Baptist Burying Ground is between Wesley Avenue and Mound Street. The Methodist Burying Ground has Clark Street as its northern boundary while the northern boundaries of the other two cemeteries do not reach Clark Street itself. Today, the area where the Baptist Burying Ground was located is mostly open land. The Jerriel Missionary Baptist Church sits on some of the land.
The cemetery was located in the city of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, and is # 4562 (Enon Baptist Church Burying Ground) in "Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003", compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
