GALLO Rose Gallo, age 99 of Stratford the beloved widow of Frank Gallo passed away in her home on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Born in New York, NY on May 24, 1912 to the late Gennaro and Josephine (DeRosa) Calabritto she has been a longtime Stratford resident. She was a local seamstress, and real Estate Broker. She was also very active in the Republican Party and served as the Registrar of Voters in Stratford. Rose was predeceased by two sisters Anna Yakoubian and Angela D'Alessio and a brother Edward Calabritto. Survivors include her beloved daughter Angela Gallo of Harwinton, CT and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Rose's caregiver Grace. Those desiring may make donations in memory of Rose to Sol Amor Hospice 4 Oxford Rd Ste E4 Milford Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 9:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church 407 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery Bridgeport.
