She was born in Hungary and had lived in the New Brunswick area most of her life.
She was the widow of the late Andrew Szabo, who died a number of years ago,. She married in Hungary and came to this country with her husband in 1912.
She was a charter member of the Magyar Reformed Church of New Brunswick.
She leaves a son, Andrew Szabo, of North Brunswick; three daughters Mrs. Margaret Csak with whom she lived; and Mrs. Vilma Bartha of Hungary; a brother, Louis Bende of Hungary; two sisters Mrs. Barbara Puskas, of Hungary and Mrs. Sarah Szabo of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Gowen Funeral Home, 233 Somerset St., New Brunswick, with a service at 10:00 a.m. at the Magyar Reformed Church. The Rev. Imre Bertalan, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
