Kenneth Hale, 70, passed away in Lewisville, Texas, on Dec. 25, 2013. Ken was born Oct., 7, 1943, in Dublin, Texas, to Daniel Boone Hale and Eva Cliftine (Whitfield) Hale. He graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High School and attended Midwestern State University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963, during early years of the Vietnam Conflict. In 1978, Ken married Anita Lorene Hall of Denton, Texas. In 2000, he retired as inventory control manager after a 34-year career at Aviall, a Boeing company located at Love Field in Dallas. A member of First Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas, Ken was formerly a long-time member of Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas. Ken was active for many years with the Christian Classic Cruisers, a car club benefitting underprivileged children in the Dallas-Fort Metroplex. A die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Ken loved to travel; two of his favorite trips were to Paris, France, and to Oahu, Hawaii. Ken will always be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes and bright smile. He loved to be around children and animals, and he had a cute saying for every occasion. Ken is survived by wife Anita; his mother Eva Cliftine Scott; a brother and two sisters; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
