Born Jan. 28, 1918, in Superior, West Deer Township, she was the daughter of Albert and Mary Procop Lasick.
She was a homemaker and had lived in the Clinton Township area since 1942. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Zacherl was a member of St. Victor Roman Catholic Church of Bairdford. She also belonged to the Christian Mothers of the church and the Saxonburg VFW Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving are six sons, George L. and Leroy F. Zacherl, both of Clinton Township, Frank J. Zacherl of Hampton Township, Edward H. Zacherl of Saxonburg, Walter E. Zacherl of Middlesex Township and James L. Zacherl of Penn Township; two daughters, Jacquelyn Huff of Penn Township and Linda Harigan of Middlesex Township; 36 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by three brothers, Walter Lasick of Maryland, Andrew Lasick of Bethel Park and Frank Lasick of California; two sisters, Caroline Anthony of Florida and Helen Schmeider of Cabot.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Zacherl; a son; a daughter; three brothers; four sisters; three grandchildren; and great-grandchild.
ZACHERL - Friend of Anna Lasick Zacherl, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, McKrell Road, Russellton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford. Burial will be at Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
