2) Seth E. - born 1836 in NY. He marries Phebe Jane Preston (1843-1925). They had one child. Seth dies in 1909.
3) Jay Francis- born 1839 in Lee, Oneida County, NY. He was a lawyer whose name appears many times on the sources for his relatives. He married Sarah "Sally* Olcott (1844-1928). They had two children. Jay dies 17 Feb 1929 in Rome, Oneida County, NY.
4) Henry C. - born 1842 in NY. He first married Anna "Annie"* Cross (1845-1879). They had two children. Henry second marries Caroline "Carrie"* Shepard (1853-1906); hey had no known children. Henry dies 17 Dec 1922 in Pemberton, Burlington, County NJ.
5) Cynthia - born 1845 in Lee, Oneida County, NY. She marries George Fetterly (1840-1902). Research needs to be done to determine if they had children. Cynthia dies 05 Apr 1914.
6) Mary A. - born 1855 in Oneida County, NY. She marries Charles A. Hyde (1852-1920). They had at least one child. Mary dies 1899.

Alonzo Byam, son of David Byam and Phebe Byam (research needs to be done to determine how they are related). Alonzo is born 21 Jun 1807 in Lee, Oneida County, New York. Alonzo dies 02 Jun 1867 in Lee, Oneida County, NY. He is buried in Lee Valley Cemetery in Lee, Oneida County, NY.
1850 and 1865 - Alonzo (mason), Sally, and their children live in Lee near other Byam relatives.
1860 - Alonzo (farmer), Sally, and their children live in Lee
1870 - Sarah (widow) is living with her married daughter Cynthia Fetterly and her family; and her single daughter Mary in Lee near other Byam relatives.
Sarah passes away on 10 May 1873.
