Because of his duty death Roger Wenk's name is inscribed on the Michigan Fallen Heroes Memorial Monument, Stone 2, Row 20.  He was a member of the Blank Fire Dept. The monument is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of County Center Drive East (north entrance) and N. Telegraph Rd., on Oakland County's complex at 1200 North Telegraph Road in Pontiac.  The memorial has a website on the internet.
He is survived by his wife: Marjorie Koch-Wenk
Children: Lee Wenk and Lynn Brewer
Parents: Uhl Henry Wenk and Louise Maggie Seim.
