Orlando Arthur died at his home in this village Tuesday, April 17, at 8 pm. Mr Arthur was a ??? long resident of the town, having been born here in 1809. he has always made it his home. For he past year his health has been gradually failing and his death was not unexpected. He was a member of the Methodist church and was much respected and esteemed by those who knew him. A wife and eight children. Mrs. John McCue, Mrs. Henry Coats, Mrs. James Kelley, Mrs. Samuel Roberts, Mrs. Amos Peebles and Orlando jr, Lewis and Charles Arthur survive him. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. William Holbrock were held from his residence on Friday.
