He worked at Bent Oak Golf Course as a cart attendant and general groundskeeper. He had a small mowing business, mowing for the Baptist church and several others.
He was a football and baseball player for the Odessa High School Bulldogs and wrestled his freshman year.
He loved to hunt, fish and golf.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Odessa.
His survivors include his parents, Tracy and Curt Peter, of the home; and Ken Hedicke, St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Erin Hedicke of Kansas City; and Emily Hedicke, of the home; grandparents, Leona and Dwayne McNeel of Odessa, MO; Midge Hedicke of St. Charles, MO; and Chris and Carolynn Peter of Millstadt, IL; and his great-grandmother, Edith McNeel of Odessa, MO.
Friends may call tonight at the Ralph O. Jones Chapel, Odessa. Services will be Wednesday at the Odessa Middle School. Burial will be in Odessa Cemetery.
