An Andrew COE appears between 1617 - 1653 at Stoke-Nayland and Assington, contemporary with the sons and nephews of Henry COE. Extensive search has failed to establish his parentage, but it seems likely he may have been the eldest son of Henry COE, although there is no proof of it. This Andrew Coe first appears at Stoke-Nayland in 1617 where he lived until about 1636 when he moved into the adjoining parish of Assington where he appears on the Shipmoney Tax for Suffolk in 1640. Buried 2 Nov 1653. No will or administration of his estate is to be found.
