wife of CHARLES W. STEELE, Esq., of this city, who for over a year past, has been gradually but surely failing in health, succumbed at last on yesterday afternoon to the inroads of the destroyer, and passed away at the age of 34 years. The funeral will occur from the residence of the deceased at 100 Lock street, on Monday next at 2 P. M. The deceased, who has been a resident of this city for a number of years has during that time gathered around her a large circle of friends drawn into their high regard by her genial and kindly nature, and many there are who will join with her husband and only son, John, in their grief at her demise."
