Nancy DeFeo Saracino, age 89, a homemaker, of Shelton, died on Saturday, January 25, 2003, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Rosa Spina DeFeo, and was a former Trumbull resident before moving to Shelton. Mrs. Saracino will be fondly remembered as a great cook, baker and homemaker. She was the widow of Ben Saracino. Survivors include two sons, Allie Saracino and his wife, Cherie, and Ronnie R. Saracino and his wife, Mary Lou, all of Shelton; several brother and sisters-in-law; four grandchildren, Lorri Nuzzo, Daryl Smith, Ronnie L. Saracino and Greg Saracino; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at 8 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, January 28, 2003, from 4 to 8 pm.
