Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Ted Francis officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church. Born February 25, 1930, in Saline County, MO, Ernestine was the daughter of the late Rolla S. Riddle and Rosa Crawford Riddle. On April 2, 1949, she married Clarence Blackerby who survives of the home. She lived in Saline County her entire life and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She loved to play Bingo. She and Clarence loved to square dance and were members of Boots and Slippers Club in Marshall and Grin & Squares Club in Sedalia.
In addition to her husband, Clarence, Ernestine is survived by two sons, Ronald Blackerby and Randall Blackerby and wife, Patty, of rural Sweet Springs; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ronni Jean Blackerby; and one brother, R.J. Riddle.
