I have found evidence in a book that George Goodman was born in England not Germany. (Which seems to match my husband's DNA Ethnicity.) I am sorry for any inconvenience.
In 1756 he married Catherine Gougar in Berks County, Pennsylvania. They had 4 known children who lived to adulthood. *The book listed below, says there were possibly 6 but 2 of their names are unknown and there doesn't seem to be any data on them.
George Goodman died in 1795. He is not the George that is buried in Charles Evans Cemetery. I am searching for his resting place. If anyone has proof, please contact me.
(*The George Gutman b. 1723 from Germany who had 6 children, the first 2 were born in Germany. He is not the same George Goodman that this Memorial is for.)
