Bob was a lifelong resident of the village. He had been employed by the former Bendix Corporation in Green Island for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. Bob and his wife, Barbara, ran Moon's Pizza in Green Island in the late '60s and early '70s. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Green Island.

Bob is survived by his wife, four children, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
