Holding, Aug. 18.---Constant Livery was born near Paris, France, August 15, 1840, and died at Holdingford, August 13, 1903, lacking just two days of being 63 years of age. He came to America with his parents when nine years of age. He was a veteran of the war of 1861-5, serving nearly four years in Co. B. 30th regiment Ohio volunteer infantry. He was a member of Phil. Shridan Post, No. 157, Grand Army of the Republic at Royalton. He was married to Levina George, on August 9, 1866. There were born to them eight children, four boys and four girls, all now living but one boy. A large cortage followed to the grave, thirty-four teams besides many persons on foot. He was buried at Holding, August 15th. The funeral sermon was by Rev. A. M. Keniston, of Burtrum.
