Mrs. Catharine Helmer. There was a large attendance of friends at the funeral of Catharine McCue, widow of John Helmer, which was held from her late home, 130 Mohawk street, at 9 o’clock this morning and from St. John’s Church at 9:30 o’clock, where a solemn mass of requiem was chanted…. The bearers were nephews of the deceased, John Burns, Henry Burns, John P. Scanlon, C.J. Scanlon, John A. McCue, and George W. McCue. The interment was made in St. Agnes’s Cemetery.
