FBI Agent allegedly involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He was educated in the Public Schools of Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University and Soule College of New Orleans. He was employed by the Monroe Police Department Division of Investigation, U.S. Department of Justice FBI. Served longer in the position of Special Agent in Charge than any other person at that time, a period of nearly seventeen years. Then he became a private investigator and criminologist.

A Communicant of the Baptist Church, he served as church moderator, deacon, trustee and Sunday School Teacher. As a mason, he was a past Master of Graham Surghnor Lodge #383, F. & A. M., Monroe, Louisiana. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and of Jerusalem Temple, New Orleans, Louisiana.
