Eugen Adam was the third son of famous painter Albrecht Adam and a fine painter in his own right of battles, horses and lively landscapes. He was an artist apprentice to his father. He travelled throughout Europe and witnessed battles including the ones of Mortara and Rovara and made vivid paintings of those. He is buried alongside his father and brothers.
