Anna Trifone, beloved wife of Frank Trifone, who resided at Walnut Hills Apts. passed away peacefully early Thursday morning on September 12, 2002 after a long illness. Anna was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was loved by all for her giving nature, great cooking and sewing. She loved scratch-off tickets and casino visits, which kept her spirits up during her illness. Mrs. Trifone grew up in the Bronx, and is survived by her three children: Richard of Cape Cod, MA; Suzanne Mantin of Tomkins Cove, NY; and Michael of Cortlandt Manor, NY; also five grandchildren: Brian, John and Stephen Perry of Tomkins Cove, and Sarah and Elizabeth Trifone of Cortlandt Manor and is survived by sister, Mary Janzon and brother John Buyko who both live on Long Island. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home, Rt. 9W, Stony Point, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, John Street, Stony Point, NY with burial to follow in Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery, Monsey, NY.
