She married Alfred S. Fetterly on 6/28/1941 at Sacred Heart Church in Massena. He died on 3/28/1972.
She worked at the Carthage Area Hospital Coffee Shop and the Cafeteria for 7 years. She also was a home health caregiver for several years.
She was a member of St. James Church, the VIP’s, Ave Marie Circle and was a lifetime member of VFW Post # 7227 Auxiliary in Carthage.
She was survived by two daughters, Joanne Stanley and Marilyn Gardner, four sons, Robert F., Richard S. and David A., and Douglas W.; 10 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Revier, and a brother: Francis.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Marjorie LaGray, Edna Durant and Altha Rodden and two brothers, Silas and Kurt Poquette.
