Bethany Ann (McCurdy) Shellabarger is the daughter of Thomas McCurdy,
who immigrated to New Jersey from Ireland, and Agnes (Adams) McCurdy of Amboy,
New Jersey. She was born 13 Feb 1787, and married Samuel Shellabarger in 1809,
settling in Ohio. Their children were Nancy 1809-1849, David 1813-1849,
Elizabeth 1815-1878, Samuel 1817-1896 (US Congressman from Ohio), Maria
1818-1893, Isabella 1822-, and John 1822-.
