She attended school in Manila. Maria married Francisco Caguntas Aldana in Baguio City, Philippines on January 10, 1964. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1982.
Maria was a homemaker who loved cooking, traveling, cats and dogs, watching soap opera's, and playing tennis - she was actually a good tennis player. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard.
Surviving are sons Ross (Lanie) Aldana of Port Orchard and Chris Aldana of Black Diamond, Washington; daughter Salva Aldana of Black Diamond; brother Manny (Clarita) Miraflor of Diamond Bar, California; sisters Connie Cruz of Chino, California and Dading Posadas of Manila; and grandchildren Francisco, Michael, Janelle, Rianna, and Zoren.
She was preceded in death by sisters Jacinta M. Abad and Maria O. Mina, and brother Totoy Miraflor.
