Thomas "Jerry" Shaver, 63, of Spring Street, died October 11, 2007 at his home.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late David Melvin and Effie Crocker Shaver and a member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship in Fountain Inn.

Surviving are four sisters, Gladys E. Clardy and Geneva Hurley both of Fountain Inn, SC, Kathleen Ivey and husband James of Gray Court, SC and Linda Jean Shaver of the home; sister-in-law, Brenda Shaver of Pauline, SC.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Tobias Shaver and James Ernest Shaver and two sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Daisy Bagwell.
