Jesse Reynolds of the West Side is very low. His age is 89 years.

Mr. Jessie Reynolds died Sunday morning, 27th instate at his home on the west side. He had nearly completed his eighty ninth year, and had been a resident of this locality nearly his whole life. For many years, until failing health compelled his retirement, he conducted his retirement, he conducted his farm a couple of miles below this village on the west side, and was among the most successful farmers in this section. He was a worthy and respected citizen and neighbor. He is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Theodore Doyle, of Mexico and Mrs. Irving Carrier of Volney, and three sons, Hulbert D., of Syracuse, Wellington J., of Jackson, Mich., and Frank of Rochester. Funeral services were conducted from the house yesterday morning.

Phoenix,Oct. 1 - Jesse Reynolds, an old and highly respected citizen of West Phoenix, died Sunday morning, aged 88 years. Mr. Reynolds was born in Greene Co., N. Y., Jan. 21, 1813, and at the age of four years came with his parents to Oswego County and settled in the town of Granby where he lived continuously until seven years ago, when he retired from his farm and moved to West Phoenix where he resided until his death.
Mr. Reynolds was well known throughout this vicinity, and up to a few years ago had always been a remarkably active, stirring man. Always honorable and upright in his dealings, he was known as a man whose word was as good as a bond in all business matters. He leaves a wife and five children, three sons and two daughters, W. J. Reynolds, of Jackson, Mich.; Mrs. T. F. Doyle, of Mexico, N. Y.; H. D. Reynolds, of Syracuse; Mrs. W. Irving Carrier, of Volney; and the youngest son, F. M. Reynolds, of Rochester, N. Y.
The funeral services will be held at the house on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock.
