Mongolian Politician. He served as the Chairman of the Presidium of the State Little Khural from July 6, 1940 to September 23, 1953. As a youth, he worked as both a woodworker and a cart driver at a horse relay station. He later worked as a laborer in present-day Ulan Baatar during the Bogd Khanaate period from 1911 to 1924. He got his start with Mongolian revolutionaries in 1920 and took part in the 1921 Mongolian revolution. In 1923, he joined the Mongolian People's Party and rose up through the party ranks. In 1940, he was chosen to serve as chairman of the Presidium of the State Small Khural (titular head of state) and served in this post until his passing in 1953. He was twice awarded the Order of Sukhbaatar and received the Soviet Order of Lenin.
