Rose married Isadore Goldberger when she was 18. He owned a candy store in Babylon, New York. They had 8 children together. Leon, Sidney, Esther, Shirley, Phyllis, Stanley, Laura and Henry. Rose and Isadore took in Rose's sister, Dottie Cohen and her young daughter in 1921 to help Dottie during her pregnancy. Her show business husband was on the road and their new son, Jacob Cohen was born at his aunt's house in Babylon in November.
