Mrs. Terhaar Dead

Mary Terhaar, wife of G. B. Terhaar, who lives near the Soo Depot, passed away yesterday with paralysis. She had been ill for about a year, and had two previous attacks of this disease.

Mrs. Terhaar was born in Pennsylvania, April 25, 1855. She came to St. Joseph, Minn. in 1859 and from there to Pierz in 1869.

She was married in 1879 and is the mother of fourteen children, eleven of whom are left to mourn her death: Mrs. Carl Kapsner, Anna Zimmerman, Barbara Fleckenstein, Margaret Hotsch, Lizzie Mamer, Sister Adaline O.S. B. and Mary, who is at home, and Henry, Nicholas, John and Ferdinand. She was a good wife and mother and was highly respected by all who knew her. The JOURNAL extends its sympathy to the bereaved husband and children.

The deceased was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of the St. Joseph's church, under the auspices of which the funeral will be held Saturday at 9 o'clock.
