SPENCER — Harold Livingston, 91, of Spencer, passed away at the Bloomington Hospital Sunday, August 10, 2008. He was born October 4, 1916, in Greene County, IN to Foster and Della (Bland) Livingston. He was a 1933 graduate of Spencer High School. Harold worked a Clayton Winders and Sons Stone Quarry for over 40 years. He was a member of the Spencer Baptist Church where he had been a trustee, a member of the Knights of Pythians, and a member of the Spencer Conservation Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Russell) Stevens of Spencer and Janet Valadez of Playa Del Rey CA; two sons, Keith (Marsha) Livingston and Bob (Carolyn) Livingston, all of Spencer; sister Elizabeth Shields; eight grandchildren and 4 stepchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Pearl Livingston, in November 2007; two brothers, Floyd Livingston and Loran Livingston; and three sisters, Ruby Lewis, Naomi Wood and Barbara New.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Russell Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
