Mr. Cazaban was born at Bordeaux, France, in 1825, and landed in America twenty-one years later. He was one of the California Arganauts, but has made Cheyenne his headquarters for the past fifteen years. Deceased was an honest and upright citizen, respected by all.
It was Cazaban who identified Packer, the unhung Colorado man-eater, at Fort Fetterman several years ago, and gave the information which led to the arrest of the cannibal.
