He did not marry and move to MO. He moved to MO and then married there on 24 Jul 1828 in Howard County, Missouri, Susannah Cooper, who was also known as Susan.
Census records all indicate that Singleton Vaughn was originally from Kentucky. He married and moved to Mo. where he had alot of land grants. He is first documented on the 1852 Census in Solano Co. with his children.
