Lucie Delphine(who went by Delphine) was the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Lovely)Torney she was one of 13 children born to her mother. She had sisters Marie Felice,Julie, Marie Josephine, Marie Philomena and brothers Joseph Jr, Leon, Ernest she also had two half brothers and two half sisters.
Delphine married Ceaser Goslin April 30 1883, they had seven children: Mary, Alfred, Frank, Charlotte, Julius, Delphine & Vida.
Survivors are her two sons Alfred and Julis, and her three daughters Charlotte, Delphine and Vida.
Preceding her in death was her husband Ceaser and a daughter Mary.


Delphine was my great great grandmother.

Passing of Mrs Goslin
After several years of illness, Mrs Delphine Goslin passed away Feb 27, 1943, at the home of her daughter, Mrs Leo Karner of Detroit, from complication of diseases and old age.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Fr. McCullough on Mar 2 at 9am in St Agatha's church and the remain were buried in St Agatha's Cemetery.
Delphine Torney was born Dec 1, 1861 in Berne, Switzerland, and came to Anchorville, Mich when 10 years old. On April 1 1899 she moved to Tuscola County. She was united in marriage April 30 1883 to Caesar Goslin, who died July 21 1933.
Mrs Goslin is sruvived by three daughters; Mrs Kramer, Mrs Wm Neddeau, Mrs Lewis Abend; two sons Alfred and Julius and several grandchildren.
