Marie married Earl Britt August 16, 1918 in Marine City, the couple had three children Etta(6), Harold(5) and LaVerne(21 months).
Survivors are her parents, husband, three children, three brothers Clayton, Lee and Fred; and four sisters Margaret Coon, Lucillia Heinz, Mrs Ed Schwader and Bessie.
Preceding her in death was a half-sister.
Marie died at her parents home in Marine City she had been visiting and took ill Thursday morning and died Saturday of convulsions, she was only 22.

Mrs. Earl Britt died at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Mc-
Kellar, on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 3:00
a. m. Mrs. Britt was visiting in Ma-
rine City and was taken ill Thursday
morning and died Saturday of convul-
sions. She is survived by her husband,

The body was shipped from Marine
City to Owendale to the home of Mrs.
Dell Coon, a sister. The services were
held at the home and burial was in
Hillside cemetery at Gagetown.
