E. WATSON DIES IN FLORIDA
Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Watson, 70, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died Friday, June 3, in Palatka, Florida.
Born July 5, 1906, in Detroit, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Huhler.
She married Allen C. Watson August 15, 1935 in Detroit. He was formerly of the Gagetown area.
She was a teacher for ten years in the French Road School in Detroit and moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1955 from St. Clair Shores.
Survivors include one son, Michael Watson of Suttons Bay, Mich; one brother, William Huhler of Fort Lauderdale; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Freeman of Fort Lauderdale and Mrs. Pauline Cueny of Birmingham, Mich., son Thomas, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral Mass was conducted Wednesday morning at St. Agatha's church, Gagetown. The Rev. Fr. Norman Van Poppelen officiated. Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City.
Burial was in St. Agatha's Cemetery.
