Graveside service for William Howard Johnson, 68, of Decatur will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Nugent and the Rev. E.L. Waddell officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1995, at his residence. He was born Sept. 27, 1927, in Decatur. He was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired in procurement from East- West Transportation.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth M. Johnson; one son, Charles W. Johnson of Decatur; his mother, Lucille Sandlin of Decatur; and one brother, John E. Sandlin of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Frank Smith, Ed Grubbs, Robert Norwood, John Lyle, James Reeder and Jack Self.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to
Memorial Baptist Church.
