Increase Allen was the son of Jedediah and Penelope (Tripp) Allen. His first wife was Hannah Springer who died around 1760. Her death occurred prior to the establishment of the burying ground so her interment site is presently unknown. Increase married Mary Spencer in 1761. Increase was the father of 11 children:
