Born in Gallica, Austria, Mr. Hucko lived in Syracuse and retired as owner and operator of Andy's Grill, Marcellus St. in 1953.
Mr. Hucko was a widdely known Central New York musician having led his own orchestra many years. He was a former member of the New York State Tavernkeepers Association and a charter member of the Ukrainian National Home.
Mr. Hucko was a communicant and a founder of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, and a member of its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eva Sewak Hucko: two daughters, Mrs. Michael Tatiuto and Mrs. Andrew Martin, a son, Michael Hucko of New York City, a brother, Harry Hucko Sr; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
