Mrs. Texas "Boots" Capo a long time resident of St. Johns County, was called home to be with The Lord last Friday at her home in Hastings. She was 90 years old. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will miss her joyful smile, her gentle touch, and her sweet spirit. Her husband, Kenneth Maynard Capo said that the angles would watch over her to take lessons on how to obtain perfection. She was a beautiful and wonderful lady.
Two of her favorite scriptures (among the many) where:

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3: 1-2

and

"But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand" Isaiah 64:8
She was born in LaFollette, Tennessee to Crockett and Etta Benson. As a child her family lived in Denver for awhile and later moved to Akron, Ohio.

Along the way over 51 years ago she met her husband to be, and they soon married. That was 51 years ago.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Craig Funeral Home conducted by her husband and Rev. Bill Young.

Immediate survivors: Her husband Kenneth M. Capo; her daughter: Romeeria "Cookie" Durden; a grandson: Allen Post (Jeannine); and two grandchildren.
