Edna Bennett, 85, of Arcadia died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Arcadia United Methodist Church. The Rev. Murry Johnston officiated. Burial was in the Arcadia City Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Ord Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Bennett was born August 19, 1912, near Arcadia to Victor and Minnie (Nygren) Rosenquist. She attended rural school at District 25 until the fourth grade. She finished grade school and high school in Arcadia.
She taught in rural schools in Valley and Sherman counties for approximately 25 years.
She married Ray Bennett on May 28, 1962, at Broken Bow and they lived in Arcadia. Her husband died in 1997.
Survivors include nephews and nieces.
