Her first husband was Wilbrod Gauthier and they were marred on April 16, 1871 in St Jean Baptiste de Deschaillons Paroisse in Deschaillons, Quebec, Canada.

Leopold Spenard is the Great-Grandson of DAR Patriot Antonie Spenard, of the French Canadian Revolutionary War Patriots.

Grave Monument has been removed by Spenard family members and replaced with a new one in 2019 with only the following names engraved; Alfred Spenard epoux de Leda Jacques, J-Edouard Poisson Epoux de Cecile Spenard and their Son Rejean Poisson.
