MOORE, George Tyler Son of the American Revolution, learned Catholic and graduate of Georgetown University, George Tyler Moore died at home on October 31, 2006 at age 93. He was a utilities company clerk.
He and his Irish-Catholic family lived in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood. The Moores later lived in a rented apartment at 144-16 35th Avenue in Flushing, Queens, New York City. His brother worked for MCA in L.A. So they moved across the country to California.
Fiercely independent, he was a devoted husband to Marjorie and determined father of Elizabeth, John and Mary.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church, Sherman Oaks, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th.
