Mr. Hurley was born in the town of Chateaugay and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was a well-known farmer. His wife, who, before her marriage was Adda Miles of Chateaugay Lake, predeceased him by 19 years.
Mr. Hurley was survived by one son, Daniel, of Chateaugay Lake; one daughter, Mrs. N. Gillan, Montreal, Quebec, Canada; two grandchildren, Otis Hurley of Chateaugay Lake, and Dorothy Gillan of Montreal; and one sister, Mrs. John McCann of Peru, New York.
Burial was in the Bunker Hill Cemetery at Bellmont, New York.
