Dicey Davis, 71, of Oil Trough departed this life Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading books, puzzels, watching westerns and collecting porcelain Indian dolls.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Vernard F. Davis, Sr., son; Vernard F. Davis, Jr., step-son; Craig Davis, mother; Alberta Marie Berry, brother; Doug Berry, two grandchildren; Steven Foster and Corky Blankenship.
She is survived by sons; Wayne Wright of Eugene, Oregon, Bill Wright of Texas, Kenny Hazelip, of Newport, Doug Hazelip (Patti) of Campbell Station, daughters; Regina Coomes of Evansville, Indiana, Lynn Douglas (Dwight) of Tuckerman, Renee Dickey of Tuckerman, Martha Smith (Fred) of Oil Trough, Shanny Rehm (Ben) of Rose Bud, step daughters; Ann Foster of Newport, Sandra Corbit (Junior) of Bradford, sisters; Doris Haar of New Baden, Illinois, Betty Berry of Evansville, Indiana, Lori Gilslinger of Evansville, Indiana, thirty grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Graveside services were held at Gracelawn Cemetery.
