HORACE W. WINSOR
~Horace W. Winsor, whose's illness has been mentioned, passed away shortly after noon today, at the residence of his son Judge H.E. Winsor. Mr. Winsor was taken with ulceration of the stomach last Monday and failed steadily since. Prior to Monday, Mr. Winsor was feeling quite well, although he had been seriously ill during the winter.
~Mr. Winsor was born in Sterling Hill, Conn., Oct. 14, 1822. He and his wife came here from Dwight, Ill. nineteen years ago to reside with their son. Mrs. Winsor passed away four years ago last January. Mr. Winsor is survived by three children, Judge H.E. Winsor of this city, Mrs. Emily A. McCord, wife of Samuel L. McCord of Mexico City, MO., and Mrs. Helen Almy, wife of James S. Almy of Glendive, Mont.
~Mr. Winsor was a highly respected citizen, who leaves many friends who will regret to learn of his death.
