Edward Eggemeyer, aged 22 years, died at his home on south J street about 11:30 this morning. He has been ill for a long time. About a year ago the horses ran away with him while plowing, and he received a severe hurt on the side of his left breast. He never said anything about it until it had become too late to do any good. From that time on his decline has been rapid and painful. For two weeks past he has been deaf and blind. He was the only son of John Eggemeyer, and was a very worthy young man.
