JOHN EGGEMEYER, 81, FOUND DEAD IN BED
HE WAS ONE OF THE OLDEST AND MOST RESPECTED OF GERMAN RESIDENTS
DUE TO HEART DISEASE
John Eggemeyer, aged eighty-one years, one of the oldest resident of Richmond, died very suddenly early Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. August Kemper, South Tenth street.

Mr. Eggemeyer retired Saturday night after a short drive, feeling no worse than he had of late. Sunday morning when his daughter, Mrs. Kemper went to his room to awaken him she found him dead. He died from heart trouble from which he has been suffering for years. His physician states from the condition of the body Mr. Eggemeyer died about three o'clock Sunday morning while asleep.

Mr. Eggemeyer was one of the most respected German citizens of Richmond. He came direct from Germany and resided here for almost sixty years. He was a farmer. For fifteen years he had led a retired life. He was the father of six children, all girls. Those who survive him are Mrs. August Weeghman, Mrs. John Hasecoster, Mrs. Henry Erk, Mrs. John Ackerman, Mrs. Henry Loeher and Mrs. A. F. Kemper.

The funeral will be at the home at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. A. J. Feeger officiating. Interment will be in Lutherania. friends may call anytime after two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Omit flowers.
