Terry, Clifford-Age 67, of the Bear Creek Community, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, August 17th, in Oneida. Mr. Terry was born in the Bear Creek Community on March 31, 1919. He was the son of the late William Terry and the late Nannie Bell Wilhite Terry. He was preceded also in death by: one son: Anthony Terry; and one sister: Clossie Terry. Mr. Terry was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a Deacon of the Highway Baptist Church since 1952. He is survived by his wife: Hazel Ramsey Terry of the Bear Creek Community; two sons: Mr. Jesse Terry of the Pine Creek Community; and Mr. Roger Dale Terry of Whitley City, Kentucky; two daughter-in-laws: Mary Lou Burke Terry of Pine Creek, and Patsy Lucille Vanover Terry of Whitley City, Kentucky; four sisters: Mrs. Perry (Opal) Shepherd of the Pentecost Community, Mrs. Bill (Eva) Kisner of Clinton, Tennessee, Mrs. Dilmon (Flossie) Stanley of Oneida, and Mrs. Don (Dessie) West of Winfield; five brothers: Claude Terry of Winfield, Crawford Terry of Alexander, Virginia, Harry Terry of Oneida, Tommy Terry of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and James E. Terry of the Oak Grove Community; two granddaughters: Sandra Gail Terry of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Kimberely Renee' Terry of Oneida; two grandsons: Roger Allen Terry of Somerset, Kentucky, and Mark Adrian Terry of Oneida; one great granddaughter: Lacalle Ann Terry of Somerset, Kentucky; one granddaughter-in-law: Annie Perry Terry of Somerset, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
