A requiem Mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Alphonsus church for Henry Dinger, former stereotype operator for The Democrat. Earlier services will be held at 9 in the Halligan funeral home. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island arsenal.

Death occurred at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant following an illness of three years.

Mr. Dinger, a native of Germany, resided the last 49 years in America. He lived at 2528 Boies avenue, Davenport. He was a member of American Legion post No. 26 and the 40 & 8 of Davenport; the Disabled American Veterans, and Eagles lodge of Davenport.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Magdelena Dinger; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah M. Wunsch and Mrs. Carl Koos, and a brother, Alvin Dinger, all of Davenport.
