Death occurred at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant following an illness of three years.
Mr. Dinger, a native of Germany, resided the last 49 years in America. He lived at 2528 Boies avenue, Davenport. He was a member of American Legion post No. 26 and the 40 & 8 of Davenport; the Disabled American Veterans, and Eagles lodge of Davenport.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Magdelena Dinger; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah M. Wunsch and Mrs. Carl Koos, and a brother, Alvin Dinger, all of Davenport.
