Margaret Moon Holt Wright, 86, of Richmond, formerly of Lynchburg, a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by everyone, died Monday, November 24, 2003. She was the widow of Emanuel D. Wright and was preceded in death by three brothers, John Moon, James "Coke" Moon, and William Moon Jr.
She is survived by three children, Judy Holt Butler and her husband, Milton of Chesterfield, William "Billy" Holt and his wife, Sylvia of Las Vegas, NV, and Kathy Wright Hall of Richmond; two brothers, Dr. Shepard Moon and his wife, Alma of Richmond and Robert Moon and his wife, Millie of Riverside, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Perkins of Lynchburg; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Moon, Frances Moon, Kathleen Moon, all of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Davey and Barry Butler of Richmond, Bonnie Holt Howard of Richmond, and Tracey Lynn Hall of Chesterfield; and five great-grandchildren.
Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family will also receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg.
Mrs. Wright was a member of the WOTM, Manchester Chapter and Ramsey Methodist Church.
